DAVID JACQUES
David Jacques began DJing in Melbourne in the early 2000s, developing an approach grounded in selection, flow and the ability to build a musical journey over time.
After an extended hiatus, he returned to DJing with a renewed perspective and a deeper appreciation for the music that first inspired him.His sets balance rhythm, melody and atmosphere, with flow and connection at the centre.
BEATGAMMON
Beatgammon is David’s original electronic music project.
Created as a space for ideas that could not be expressed through DJing alone, Beatgammon brings together melody, rhythm, atmosphere and detailed sound design. The project reflects both the music David has absorbed over a lifetime and the ongoing process of developing a distinct voice.
The first Beatgammon releases, Mind Vision and Pulsator, marked the beginning of a catalogue intended to grow naturally — one carefully completed piece at a time.
